ISLAMABAD, Aug 01 (APP):The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday adjourned hearing of export of timber in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

tice Mazhar Alam Miankhel remarked that why the KPK government didn’t file miscellaneous application for early hearing of
the case which is pending since 2013.
Justice Sardar Tariq Masood remarked that the KPK government has been sleeping. The mafia will cut the entire forest in this way, he said.

tional Advocate General KP Shah Faisal said that after the 18th Amendment, the subject of forests is the authority of the provincial government, the provincial government can ban the export of forests.
Shah Faisal said that the provincial government can also collect tax, adding that the provincial government is imposing a ban. He also submitted forest policy 2002 to the apex court’s bench.
The court admitted the appeal for hearing and adjourned
the case for one month.
